Sources first
A fact without a source is not published. Each product page ends with its full source list and the date each source was accessed. When sources conflict, we prefer, in order: regulatory databases, the vendor’s own documentation and pricing page, press releases and filings, then third-party platforms.
Generated insight, human judgement
Short analytical sentences on our pages (for example, “ranks #4 of 23, 1.2 points above the category median”) are generated from the data so they stay current. Opinions — editor’s takes, pros and cons, “best for” statements — are written or reviewed by people and signed where they appear.
Clinical review
Pages about clinical software and devices are reviewed by dental professionals as our reviewer network grows. A page only shows a reviewer when that review has actually happened.
Testing claims
The “hands-on tested” badge appears only where we used the product ourselves. We never imply testing we have not done.
Vendor contact
Vendors may send corrections with a source. They may not review pages before publication, request removal of accurate information, or pay for a change in score.
Freshness
Each record is re-verified at least every 90 days. Pricing is re-checked more often in fast-moving categories such as AI tools and patient financing.
