CEREC Software is the most automated route from scan to milled restoration in one appointment. Its Biojaw algorithm proposes the restoration from the patient's own anatomy, and the workflow walks the dentist through a few confirmation steps before sending the design to a CEREC mill.
It is not a general-purpose CAD system. It is designed around Primescan, CEREC mills and Dentsply Sirona's cloud, and it is priced as part of that system.

What CEREC Software is
CEREC Software is Dentsply Sirona's chairside CAD for single-visit dentistry. The current version is CEREC Software 5.3. It covers single crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays, bridges, implant abutment crowns and surgical guides, with optional Implantology, Removables and Interface modules.
The Biojaw algorithm uses a biostatistical method to calculate a patient-specific initial restoration from the scanned anatomy, so most cases need only confirmation clicks through the design phases. Version 5.3 can upload designs to DS Core, Dentsply Sirona's cloud platform, which needs a paid subscription.
Hardware and pricing
CEREC Software works with Primescan AC and Primescan 2 scanners, CEREC Primemill and CEREC MC mills, and the optional CEREC SpeedFire furnace for automatic firing. Dentsply Sirona does not publish a standalone software price; it is bought as part of a CEREC system through dealers.
