Overjet Voice brings ambient documentation to the Overjet platform: it listens to the exam and produces the clinical note, perio chart, hard-tissue chart and referral letters. It needs no scripted commands and works in English and Spanish.
It is priced for groups, at $495 per location plus implementation, and it keeps audio for seven years. For a practice already using Overjet's X-ray AI, it is a natural addition; for a solo office, cheaper scribes exist.
Strengths
- Ambient: providers talk normally, no memorized commands
- Clinical notes, perio charts, hard-tissue charts and referral letters
- English and Spanish
- Published list price: $495 per location per month
- Part of the Overjet platform with its FDA-cleared X-ray AI
Watch-outs
- $1,500 one-time implementation fee
- Per-location price is high for a single-provider office
- Audio kept for seven years, which some practices will not want
- Generally available only since January 2026; few public reviews
What Overjet Voice is
Overjet Voice is an ambient AI scribe for dental visits. Providers talk naturally during the exam, and the software generates:
- comprehensive clinical notes;
- periodontal charts, without memorized commands;
- hard-tissue charts as a structured odontogram for review in the practice system;
- referral letters from customizable templates;
- analysis of clinical conversations for coaching.
Overjet announced general availability on January 28, 2026, after acquiring DentalBee and rolling the product out across 216 locations of a North American dental group. It works in English and Spanish and supports any microphone.
Pricing
Overjet's sales page for groups, read on September 30, 2026, lists:
| Product | Per location per month | Implementation |
|---|---|---|
| Voice AI Suite: scribe, perio, letters, coaching | $495 | $1,500 once |
| Vision AI: X-ray analysis | $595 | $1,500 once |
Three years of the Voice AI Suite at list price cost $19,320 per location including implementation. The price is per location, not per provider, so it is relatively cheaper for busy multi-provider offices. Contract terms are not stated.
Where Overjet Voice is strong
- Ambient, not dictation. No command vocabulary to learn.
- Breadth. Notes, perio, hard-tissue charting and letters in one product.
- Spanish. Useful for practices with Spanish-speaking patients.
- Platform. Sits alongside Overjet's FDA-cleared X-ray AI and revenue tools.
- Security. HIPAA compliance and SOC 2 Type II recorded in our data.
- Transparent list price, unusual among dental AI vendors.
Where it falls short
- Cost for small offices. $495 per location plus $1,500 is a lot for a single dentist.
- Audio retention. Seven years by default; decide whether that suits your policy.
- Young product. Generally available since January 2026, with little public feedback.
- Named integrations. Our data records note write-back to Dentrix, Eaglesoft and Open Dental; the announcement does not list systems.

Bottom line
Overjet Voice is a strong option for groups, especially those already on Overjet. Pilot it in one location, measure charting time and note quality, settle consent and audio retention with your compliance lead, and negotiate the implementation fee if you are rolling out across many sites.

Of the 4 axes we could measure, Overjet Voice is strongest on features (10.0/10) and weakest on support (2.0/10). That combination — broad functionality, thin support documentation — is typical of fast-growing vendors; ask for onboarding terms in writing. It ranks #6 of 19 in AI scribes, 1.1 points above the category median of 5.2. We could not verify integrations and user rating yet, so those axes are left blank rather than scored.
