Arini

Arini is one of the best-funded and most visible of the new dental AI receptionists, and it documents its security and Dentrix integration better than most. It answers calls around the clock, books into the schedule, hands off to staff and runs outbound reactivation.

What it does not offer is outside evidence: no public price and no independent reviews. Its headline figures are its own. Treat a trial with your own call data as the only real test.

What Arini is

Arini is an AI voice agent for dental practices, founded in 2024 in San Francisco by Abdul Jamjoom and Rami Rustom and part of Y Combinator's Winter 2024 batch. It answers inbound calls, books and reschedules appointments by voice, text and online booking, sends confirmations by call, text or email, and runs outbound campaigns to reactivate patients who are overdue.

Arini says it has booked one million appointments and reports a 68% booking conversion rate and more than 20 recovered new patients per location per month. These are vendor figures and we have not seen them audited.

Integration and security

According to Arini's integration guide, it connects to Dentrix through the official Dentrix API Exchange using OAuth 2.0, with a lightweight connector on the Dentrix server, and also supports Eaglesoft, Open Dental and Denticon. It states that:

• a business associate agreement is provided before integration;
• data is encrypted in transit and at rest;
• it holds a SOC 2 Type II certification;
• integration permissions are scoped to what the agent needs.

This is more than many competitors publish. Ask for the documents themselves rather than relying on the web page.

Pricing

No price is published; the website offers a demo. Our data records a flat pricing basis, but not the amount. Ask for:

• the monthly price per location, and whether outbound campaigns cost extra;
• any cap on calls or minutes, and the overage rate;
• onboarding fees and the contract term.

Where Arini is strong

• Booking into the schedule through an official integration, not a message for staff to re-enter.
• Documented security: BAA, SOC 2 Type II and encryption stated.
• Inbound and outbound in one agent: answering, confirmations and reactivation.
• Human handoff and text follow-up confirmed.
• Backing and team: Y Combinator and founders with applied AI backgrounds.

Where it falls short

• No price. Comparison requires a sales call.
• No independent reviews. We found none on G2 or Capterra on September 30, 2026.
• Vendor metrics. Conversion and recovery figures are Arini's.
• Narrower named integration list than some rivals, which name ten or more systems.
• Insurance capture is not confirmed in our data.

Arini is a credible choice, especially for Dentrix offices that want an official integration and a clear security position. Because there is no public price and no independent feedback, insist on a trial measured against your own missed-call data, and get the BAA, SOC 2 report and contract terms before it starts.
